Here is how you can support me on this adventure!
Pray:
- Please pray for me as a I prepare for this trip. I'll need to work on fundraising, collecting banjos and learning materials and I also will need to work on making a teaching plan.
- Please pray for my safety and health while travelling and while I'm in Uganda.
- Please pray for the family the Kasigwa family who I will be serving with while I'm there. For more information on their ministries, see my other pages "Ultimate Music School" and "Hope for Women in Crisis".
- Please pray that God will use me for his glory and that I will be able to show his love to the people of Uganda. I'm excited to see how God will work in my life while I'm there, too!
Financial Support:
I'm going to be taking six banjos with me to the school. Yes, that's right, I'm taking SIX banjos to Uganda! There will be 5 or 6 students learning the banjo with me and I would like each one to have their own to use while I'm there. I will be working with all of them together at times and we'll probably do some one-on-one lessons, too. The school will get to keep the banjos and all the learning materials that I am bringing.
If you would like to make a donation, please follow the link at the bottom of this page to donate through Grace Community Church or you can write a check to the church. When you donate, you can click "special instructions for the seller" and type "BANJO". All donations are tax deductible. I will be having a fundraiser this fall and I will announce it soon once I have all the details.
