Ultimate Music School

The school that I will be teaching banjo at is called The Ultimate Music School, a Christian ministry directed by Jeff Kasigwa. It is the only music school in Jinja! Jeff started teaching students out of his home and they recently got a building to rent in town for the school. They are working on converting one of the rooms into a recording studio.

They currently teach guitar, piano, drums and vocals. Soon they will be teaching saxophone, trumpet and violin. In the summer of 2015, they will be introduced to the banjo!

I can't wait to meet the students. I think they are going to do great with the banjo and it will be a great addition to their music ministry!

         

The school is in need of more funds to complete the recording studio and some other projects around the school. They are also looking for more volunteers to teach the students.
